Home, but not alone.
PCA Services
At Heritage Home Health, our Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) provide compassionate, non-medical support designed to assist clients with daily activities and promote independence. From personal care tasks like bathing, grooming, and mobility support to light housekeeping, meal preparation, exercise assistance, and medication management, our PCAs are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals who are elderly, disabled, or recovering from illness.
PCAs will also play a crucial role in facilitating client onboarding to Virtual Health Services when needed. This involves assisting clients with setting up essential technology, such as smartphones, tablets, or computers, and ensuring they have a reliable internet connection. With the guidance of technical support, PCAs may help clients download and install relevant applications, create user accounts, and navigate the platform’s features with ease.
By addressing each client’s unique needs, we help ensure comfort, confidence, and independence in their daily routines.
How We Help
Daily Activities
We provide assistance with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support, such as walking and using durable medical equipment. These services are tailored to promote independence and ensure comfort in everyday routines.
Light Housekeeping
We offer light housekeeping services to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment, including tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, laundry, and grocery shopping. Our services are designed to ease daily burdens and support a well-organized home.
Meal Preparation
We offer comprehensive meal preparation services, including planning, cooking, eating assistance, and cleanup. Our priority is to ensure proper nutrition while accommodating dietary restrictions, personal preferences, and doctor-recommended meal plans.
Companionship
PCAs build meaningful connections with our clients through conversations, reading aloud, or offering a kind listening ear. They help clients stay connected to their community, reducing isolation, and enhancing overall quality of life and well-being.
Exercise Support
We provide exercise support designed to help individuals perform body motion exercises that promote strength, flexibility, and mobility. These activities are tailored to individual needs, encouraging physical wellness and enhancing overall quality of life.
Medication Management
We ensure medications are taken on time and in the correct dosage by utilizing advanced technology through Remote Patient Monitoring and integrated digital health tools as part of our Virtual Health Services. This includes medication reminders sent directly to patients' devices and real-time adherence tracking.
